‘Arriba!’ – Footage emerges of Linda Martin performing ‘Euphoria’ with mariachi band
SHE’S become an unexpected viral hit with her version of Daft Punk’s latest song, and now new footage has emerged of Eurovision winner Linda Martin covering 2012 winner ‘Euphoria’.
Better known as a dance track, the singer performs the song with a Mexican mariachi band, even throwing in an ‘arriba’ as she dances.
The ‘Why Me’ singer forgets the words at several points during the performance, however continued with enthusiasm despite the slip.
The performance happened on a Swedish TV show last month just before the first semi final of the Eurovision.
The singer was appearing on the show as the special guest, as she won the Eurovision the first time it was held in Malmo in 1992.
Linda Martin’s version of Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ has become a viral hit since she performed it on the Saturday Night show, being viewed almost 200,000 times.
She hit headlines around Europe last month after Eurovision host Petra Mede branded her a 'drag queen' during a joke in the final.
