SHE is not 12-years-old yet, but a photo posted of the rock star’s daughter on Twitter yesterday shows Anais Gallagher hasn’t inherited her dad’s looks.
Her mother, Meg Mathews, who was divorced from Gallagher in 2001, posted the photo on her Twitter account yesterday taken by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino, who has photographed celebrities including Diana, Princess of Wales, Madonna, Julia Roberts and Lady Gaga and also took the official royal wedding portraits of William and Kate.
Matthews tweeted: Couldn’t resist Anais by Mario TESTINO!!! Again x.’
One celebrity hairdresser replied that the schoolgirl could be the next Kate Moss.
Anais has already been signed to leading London model agency Select Models who has Agyness Deyn on their books, and appeared with her mother in an OK! Magazine shoot in October last year.
Gallagher has refused to comment on his daughter’s modelling career, but many have expressed concern that at 11 years old she is entering the modelling world too young.
The High Flying Birds singer, who has two sons with his second wife Sara MacDonald, revealed last year that Anais was furious with him when he turned down a role as judge on X Factor despite Simon Cowell calling him personally and asking him to take the ‘alpha judge role’ when Cowell was moving to the X Factor USA .
The former Oasis rocker who is a fan of the X Factor has criticised the show for allowing under 18s to compete, saying girls are particularly vulnerable to the pressures of fame.
“When you see kids crying on there, that’s quite difficult,” he told one newspaper after the eviction of 16-year-old Amelia Lily early in the contest this year.
