Wahlberg: Entourage film in works
Mark Wahlberg has revealed that a movie based on Entourage is on the cards.
The actor, who is executive producer on the US sitcom, confirmed rumours that an Entourage film is heading onto the big screen, with work already under way.
"It better happen. We're working on [a movie] as we speak," he told People.com.
The series, which ended last week after eight years, had been widely tipped to be turned into a film. Vinnie (Adrien Grenier) got married, Eric (Kevin Connolly) was reunited with his bride-to-be, Drama (Kevin Dillon) got the series he wanted, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) found his fortune, and Ari's (Jeremy Piven) marriage is back on track and he received a job offer to run a studio.
"Everything is teed up for a movie," continued Mark.
He teased that Ari would be too tempted to keep his word to his wife (Perrey Reeves) that they will take a year off together.
"The dream job he got offered is too good to pass up," he added.
