U2 documentary to open Toronto Film Festival
The world premiere of a new U2 film called 'From The Sky Down' will open the Toronto Film Festival later this week.
The film will headline the festival on Thursday, the first time a documentary has opened the festival.
The film is directed by Davis Guggenheim, who won an Oscar for 'An Inconvenient Truth', a documentary on Al Gore's global warming campaign.
'From The Sky Down' is based on U2's 1991 album Achtung Baby, which is to be reissued later this year.
The film follows the production of the album and the 20 years that have followed. It features new interviews and previously unseen footage from Berlin and Dublin.
