Taken star Liam Neeson has been putting his “particular set of skills” to good use, as his co-star Maggie Grace recently revealed that the actor prank-called her ex-boyfriend as a favour.
Speaking on US talk show Conan O’Brien, the actress who star alongside Neeson in Taken 3 explained that the Ballymena man made the call after Grace shared her romantic woes to him on set.
“I was feeling very heartbroken, so Liam decided that we had to do something,” said Grace.
The 31-year-old recorded the chilling Bryan Mills style call made to her ex, and shared it on the show.
In the short clip, Neeson chillingly tells Grace’s unnamed ex, that he made the mistake of dating “out of his league,” and that if there were any more mistakes, he would “break his arm slowly.”
“I have a particular set of skills, and I don’t want to waste them on you,” Neeson said.
Grace, also described her co-star as "the best fake movie dad any girl could ask for", adding that he was always asking her about her love life.
Neeson recently revealed that he would love to return to the Star Wars franchise, while promoting the final installment of the Taken trilogy.
Liam Neeson's former-CIA agent Bryan Mills exists solely as an agent of vengeance. Other than commendable doggedness and a rather skewed value system that insists on honesty but appears to have no problem whatever with torture and murder, Mr Mills doesn't really have much by way of a personality.
The Sony mail leaks gave Liam Neeson a very brief pause for concern. And then a good chuckle. With Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Barack Obama all maligned subjects of biting correspondence between loose-tongued studio execs, he kept an eye out for his own name.
