Funnyman Jason Sudeikis has been picked to host the 20th annual MTV Movie Awards.
The Saturday Night Live cast member will present the June 5 show - which will air live on MTV - at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
MTV President Stephen Friedman said "smart and funny is the new rock 'n' roll" for the network's audience, and Jason fits that combination.
The 35-year-old is in his sixth season on NBC's Saturday Night Live. He co-stars in the upcoming comedy Horrible Bosses.
Last year's awards were presented by actor-comedian Aziz Ansari.
