Emma Stone could be fighting the walking undead again, as she's apparently been offered the lead role in Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.
The American starlet - who received a career boost from 2009's Zombieland - would star in the big-screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's tongue-in-cheek novel, which retells Jane Austen's classic tale with brain-eating monsters, reported Variety.
Natalie Portman had previously been attached to the role.
Craig Gillespie, who directed Lars and the Real Girl and Fright Night, would be sitting in the director's chair for the period comedy horror, which has been re-written by Buffy The Vampire Slayer scribe Marti Noxon.
Emma - who plays Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield - will next be seen in romantic comedy Crazy Stupid Love opposite Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell, as well as Friends With Benefits.
