IT has been quite a week for Saoirse Ronan -- with the Irish actress alternately at the centre of a drama about teenage self-harm and then becoming a teenage CIA assasin.
Showing her increased pulling power on US screens, the 16-year-old was yesterday alongside co-star Eric Bana promoting the espionage film 'Hanna'.
She stars as an assassin trained by her CIA operative father, played by Bana, who is then dispatched on a mission across Europe.
Her appearance on the popular New York TV show 'Today' is a long way from an RTE radio studio, from where another of her latest projects was broadcast on Sunday night. Ms Ronan, along with her father Paul and Amy Huberman, starred in 'Yardstick', a radio play about teenage bullying and the effects of text messages and Facebook on the problem.
