Martin Scorsese looks set to reunite with Leonardo DiCaprio for the fifth time.
The duo - who previously collaborated on Gangs Of New York, The Aviator, The Departed and Shutter Island - will work on drama The Wolf Of Wall Street, reports Deadline.
Based on Jordan Belfort's memoir, which has been adapted for the big screen by Boardwalk Empire creator Terrence Winter, Leonardo is tipped to play the "hard partying, drug addicted stockbroker", who served time in prison for security fraud and money laundering.
Filming is set to begin in August in New York.
Leonardo, who last starred as J Edgar Hoover in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar, recently finished work on the Baz Luhrmann-directed The Great Gatsby alongside Carey Mulligan.
He is preparing to start work on Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, in which he plays villain Calvin Candie.
