SATC prequel already in pipeline?
Sex And The City 2 was only released last week - but a third movie could already be in the works.
Candace Bushnell, who created Carrie Bradshaw in her hit novel, has just published The Carrie Diaries, about the fashionista's high school years in Connecticut, and E! News reports talks have already begun to adapt it for the big screen.
Sarah Jessica Parker would not be able to star as teenage Carrie, and while SATC 2 has been panned by critics, studio executives are keen to make another movie out of the franchise.
A source said the sequel had already made 90 million dollars at the global box office, adding: "People are still having fun with it. Of course they want the teen years."
Candace recently told MTV News she's already at work on the second Diaries book about the aspiring young fashion writer's first summer in New York City.
But she insisted at the SATC 2 premiere in New York last week that she wasn't aware of any plans to adapt Carrie's teen years into a film.
She previously revealed she wouldn't mind Miley Cyrus playing a young Carrie, saying: "I think she's adorable."
Miley, who makes a cameo as herself in the new movie, told BBC Radio 1: "I would totally do it. It would be so cool."
