Sarsgaard joins Woody Allen movie
Peter Sarsgaard has joined the cast of Woody Allen's upcoming film.
The Green Lantern actor has been confirmed for a role in the as-yet-untitled movie alongside Cate Blanchett, Sally Hawkins and Alec Baldwin, although details about their parts have not been revealed.
Comedians Louis CK and Andrew Dice Clay have also joined the project.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Woody will be shooting the film in New York and San Francisco - it would be his second time directing in San Francisco, following his directorial debut, 1969's Take The Money And Run.
Peter, 41, who is married to Maggie Gyllenhaal, will next be seen in Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's Linda Lovelace biopic, Lovelace, in which he stars with Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Jessica Parker and James Franco.
