Sanders signs up for Ghost film
Rupert Sanders is set to direct a movie version of sci-fi manga Ghost In The Shell.
The British filmmaker has signed up for the live-action adaptation of the Japanese series, reported Deadline.
The series, written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow, follows the fictional counter-cyberterrorist organisation Public Security Section 9, and was previously turned into films in 1995 and 2004.
Rupert's other upcoming projects include an epic biopic about Napoleon Bonaparte and thriller Kill List.
The filmmaker made his feature directorial debut with 2012's Snow White And The Huntsman.
He hit the headlines when it emerged he had an affair with the film's star, Twilight actress Kristen Stewart.
