Ruffalo in talks for Spotlight
Mark Ruffalo looks set to star in a movie about child abuse in the Catholic Church.
The Begin Actor is in talks for the part in Spotlight, reported The Wrap.
Michael Keaton and Stanley Tucci are also negotiating about roles in the drama, which follows the Boston Globe's investigation into child molestation and a subsequent cover up in the Catholic Church in Massachusetts.
Liev Schreiber and Aaron Eckhart are also tipped for roles and the female lead has apparently been earmarked for Rachel McAdams.
Mark, Michael and Rachel would play reporters, while Liev looks set to play the newspaper's editor.
Spotlight was written by Josh Singer and Tom McCarthy, who will direct, and it was on Hollywood's Black List of the best unproduced screenplays.
