Ruffalo hypnotised by Harrelson
Mark Ruffalo has revealed he was hypnotised by Woody Harrelson on the set of their latest movie Now You See Me.
The action caper sees Woody play one of a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances. The Hunger Games star takes on the role of mentalist Merritt McKinney and Avengers actor Mark said he became a little too convincing.
"I just want to say I did fall under the spell of Woody Harrelson and when I woke up all I saw was a green haze."
Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of the magic movie, French director Louis Leterrier said: "Woody hypnotised Mark to make him forget the number 3 until he re-hypnotised him to bring back the number three."
However, Dave Franco, brother of James Franco, said he didn't quite fall under Woody's spell.
"Woody was practicing his mentalism on everyone. I can't say he actually put me under but he got me thinking weird things."
One thing the stars did all achieve was a new magic trick, and Mark said his skills had already impressed his children. "I can do some cool table tricks, I can make a toothpick disappear in a napkin, which is a very impressive trick when you're eight," he said.
Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg joked he was venturing far and wide to find an audience for his showmanship.
"I can do some sleight of hand magic tricks. I've been going to a lot of parties just to show off the trick. I signed up to e-vite.com just to go to parties. It's a snap change, you show a card, you snap your fingers and it's changed."
Now You See Me is out in cinemas on July 3.
