Rogen: I'm not like 50/50 womaniser
Seth Rogen has promised he is nothing like his womanising character in new film 50/50.
The Green Hornet star - who married his long-term girlfriend earlier this month - stars as Kyle, who uses his friend's (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) cancer diagnosis to get dates.
At the London Film Festival screening of the film, Seth said: "I'm not very similar, I don't think. I never talk to women, I could never lie to a girl to try and get laid. I would say that aspect specifically is nothing like me - I hope!"
The comedy has been written by Seth's friend Will Reiser, based on his own experiences.
Will added: "Seth does not behave the way Kyle does. I would say that Seth is much nicer to women. In the movie, Kyle is a bit of a womaniser. Seth is much kinder."
Seth, Will and Anna Kendrick, who plays a therapist in the film, all agreed humour was a good way to deal with traumatic situations.
Seth said: "I think when something miserable is happening no one needs to be reminded about how miserable it is. I find trying cheer the person up is generally a much better attitude to take and that's what we did.
"Even though Will was sick his life didn't stop, we still went to bars, he still went to parties, he still was dating girls and a lot of funny stuff happened because of those two things and that's what we wanted to show."
