Margot Robbie has revealed she still has to pinch herself for getting a role in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf Of Wall Street.

The former Neighbours actress is set to play Leonardo DiCaprio's screen wife in the upcoming film, alongside Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey and Jean Dujardin.

"It's crazy. I pinch myself every day," she admitted.

"I still want to call him up and say, 'Marty, are you sure? Because I'm sure there was an A-lister out there that should have got this job?' I'm not sure why I did, but I'll be eternally grateful."

Margot, who played Donna Freedman in the Australian soap, said it was "amazing" working with the Oscar-winning filmmaker and described her co-star Leonardo as "brilliant."

"Leo's brilliant. He's such a committed actor," she said of her screen husband.

"It's really nice to work across someone who is so incredibly into the scenes that sometimes I was like, 'I don't know if he knows we're acting any more. What if he hits me right now?' He's so in the moment, and working with him made me a much better actor."

The 23-year-old actress - who next stars as Charlotte in Richard Curtis' romantic drama About Time, which is released on September 6 - said it has been thrilling to go from one spectrum to the other in both films.

"Leonardo's character and his wife have a tumultuous relationship to say the least. They're just crazy. Everyone in Wolf Of Wall Street is nuts so it's fun and it's the exact opposite of what I do in About Time - different characters, different ages, different accents, everything," she added.
