Richardson: I'm a huge Fincher fan
Joely Richardson has revealed David Fincher doesn't always do as many takes as legend would have it.
The actress appears in Fincher's forthcoming adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and told Collider the director was not as demanding as one would expect.
She said: "Apparently Kubrick was 100 plus takes, but in my experience with Fincher it wasn't always [like that]. Sometimes we would do a few and sometimes he would do a lot."
She added: "He's quite brilliant, I'm a huge fan."
Joely stars alongside Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara in Fincher's English-language adaptation of the book by late Swedish author Stieg Larsson.
She is currently on screen in Anonymous, and has projects Red Lights and Thanks For Sharing in the pipeline.
