Ray Winstone to play Noah baddie?
Ray Winstone is apparently in talks to play a villain in Darren Aronofsky's Biblical drama Noah.
An offer has already been made, with negotiations under way for the British star to join the film, according to Deadline.
Val Kilmer was also linked to the role, but Ray was reportedly considered a better rival to square off against Russell Crowe, who is already on board as the Biblical ark builder.
Douglas Booth and Logan Lerman are to play Russell's sons, with Emma Watson as the love interest to Douglas' character.
Jennifer Connelly and Julianne Moore are both said to be in the frame to portray Noah's wife, although no decision has been made.
Production is set to gear up this summer in New York and Iceland, with a 2014 release.
Ray - who plays a dwarf in Snow White And The Huntsman - is no stranger to playing villainous roles, having starred in Nil By Mouth, Sexy Beast and 44 Inch Chest.
He next appears in The Sweeney movie alongside Ben Drew (Plan B) and Damian Lewis, which opens in cinemas this September.
