Ray Liotta is reportedly the latest actor to join the star-studded cast of Cogan's Trade.
Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Javier Bardem, Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo, Vincent Curatola and Richard Jenkins also star in Andrew Dominik's adaptation of the 1974 George V Higgins novel, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Risky Business blog.
Brad plays Jackie Cogan, a professional enforcer who has to investigate a heist that took place during a high-stakes poker game under protection of the mob, while Ray would be Mark 'Markie' Trattman, the unlucky hustler who runs the game in a motel room and finds things only going downhill from there.
The crime thriller is expected to start shooting in New Orleans later this month, for a 2012 release.
Ray, best known for his role in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, had recent roles in Date Night opposite Tina Fey and Steve Carell, and Charlie St Cloud with Zac Efron.
