Ray Charles musical for Broadway
A musical about Ray Charles is headed for Broadway.
The jazz musician's life was celebrated in the film Ray which won an Oscar for lead actor Jamie Foxx.
The musical celebration Unchain My Heart is now set to hit Broadway in November.
Producer Stuart Benjamin said casting was yet to be announced but the show would be directed by Sheldon Epps.
Benjamin worked with the late singer for 15 years and produced the film Ray.
An earlier version of the musical called Ray Charles Live was produced at California's Pasadena Playhouse in 2007.
