No George Clooney mania in Hawaii

Shailene Woodley said filming in Hawaii was peaceful

Shailene Woodley has revealed how the Hawaiian set of The Descendants was relatively free from George Clooney fans.

The 20-year-old makes her big-screen debut as the superstar's screen daughter Alexandra in Alexander Payne's drama.

"It was quite quiet and quaint. George didn't really have a ton of fans around - every now and then someone would come up - but it wasn't like filming anywhere else on this planet," she said.

"Hawaii is so magical and everyone is so grateful to be there that it created such a positive, comfortable atmosphere."

Shailene is still getting used to her new-found fame.

"I don't think it is anything you could ever get used to. I'm really grateful for everything that has happened, but other than that, I am still taking it all in," she admitted.

"It has been crazy. I take it day by day with gratitude, I am just excited. All of this, including being in Hawaii for four months, has exceeded my expectations, so I don't have any expectations."
