Neighbours star bags Scorsese role?
Former Neighbours star Margot Robbie is in talks to star opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's new film The Wolf Of Wall Street.
The Australian actress - who starred alongside Christina Ricci in US TV drama Pan Am after leaving the soap last year - could be going from Ramsay Street to Wall Street, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Margot is in talks to play the female lead Nadine, the wife of famous stockbroker Jordan Belfort in the true story of his rise and fall on Wall Street, based on his memoir of the same name.
Belfort was a highly successful trader in the 1990s employing over 1,000 stockbrokers handling stock worth more than a billion dollars. He also enjoyed a hard partying lifestyle and had a serious drug addiction.
In 1998 he was charged with fraud and money laundering and spent 22 months in jail.
Margot, 21, won several award nominations for her role as student Donna Freedman in Neighbours and will next be seen in Richard Curtis' new film About Time, starring Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy and Tom Hollander.
