Myles set to join Transformers 4?
Sophia Myles could be fighting giant robots with Mark Wahlberg in Transformers 4.
Director Michael Bay is apparently interested in casting the Spooks actress in the fourth instalment of the shape-shifting robots film series, where she is tipped to play a scientist in a "major supporting role", reported The Wrap.
If the rumours are true, the 33-year-old would be joining Mark, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor in the upcoming movie.
Mark leads the all-new cast, with Nicola to play his screen daughter and Jack as her boyfriend. Kelsey has been cast as the human antagonist of the movie.
Paramount have not commented on her casting or her role.
The fourth film - and the first without lead star Shia LaBeouf - centres on a group of powerful, ingenious businessmen and scientists attempting to learn from past Transformer attacks and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control, while "an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs".
Transformers 4 is scheduled to be released in summer 2014.
