What is likely to be the biggest film of the year - Fifty Shades of Grey - releases today and Entertainment Editor Aoife Kelly is joined in studio by George Byrne of the Herald and Kirsty Blake Knox for his'n'hers reviews.

For the uninitiated, the plot revolves around naive 21-year-old English Literature student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) who falls for 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) only to find a traditional romantic relationship is not on the agenda.

Grey is into BDSM (bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, sadism/masochism) and wants to be the dominant to her submissive. The drama centres around whether or not she’s prepared to sign a contract (literally) and if she does, to what extent she’s willing to submit to his desires.

George is pretty scathing with his review whilst Kirsty, who attended the premiere at the Savoy in Dublin where the audience, she says, frequently dissolved into laughter at unintentional humour, is a little more forgiving.  And George recommends an alternative Valentine's weekend film for anyone who doesn't want to see Fifty Shades...
