The vertigo-inducing trailer for Robert Zemeckis' The Walk has landed and it looks spectacular.

The Walk is based on the true story of French high wire artist Philippe Petite who planned and executed an extremely perilous and illegal wire walk between the World Trade Centre towers in 1974.

Petit, who was the subject of the hugely engaging 2008 documentary Man on Wire, is played in the film by Joseph Gordon Levitt.  Also starring are Ben Kinglsey, James Badge Dale, and Charlottte Le Bon.

Here's the spectacular trailer and scroll down for behind-the-scenes featurettes and interviews....
