Watch: Spectacular first full length trailer for Aladdin featuring Will Smith as Genie (and he's not always blue)
Those of us who baulked a little at the blue Will Smith who featured in the first images from the set of Aladdin can breathe a sigh of relief.
The first full-length trailer for Disney's live action version of the classic tale has landed and confirms that the Genie is not always blue.
Aladdin, played by Mena Massoud, summons him from a lamp hidden in a cave full of riches and a bromance is born.
There's also romance, of course, with Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and the pair are seen singing A Whole New World while flying on the magic carpet.
We also get a glimpse of Marwan Kenzari as the villainous Jafar.
The live action version of the 1992 animated film has been directed by Guy Ritchie and follows up successful live action versions of The Jungle Book and Beauty And The Beast.
It will be swiftly followed by live action versions of Dumbo and The Lion King, while other animated films getting the same treatment include Mulan, The Little Mermaid, The Lady And The Tramp, Snow White and Pinocchio.
Aladdin will be released in Ireland in May.
