This is the badass way Carrie Fisher dealt with a producer who allegedly sexually assaulted her friend
Carrie Fisher was a loyal friend and went beyond the call of duty when her pal was allegedly sexually assaulted by a Hollywood producer in 1999.
Speaking to Arizona radio station 94.9 Heather Ross claimed she was assaulted by the producer when he arranged to pick her up in his car to talk about her working on his latest project.
Ross said the producer was not Harvey Weinstein but another 'Oscar-winning producer'. She said he pulled over, reclined her seat, and then pushed himself on top of her.
After the incident she confided in her friend Fisher about what had happened and sought her advice on what to do.
Fisher took the matter into her own hands, according to Ross, and packaged up a gift for the producer, which she handed to him in person, and watched as he opened it.
"It was a cow tongue from Jerry's Famous Deli with a note that said: 'If you ever touch my darling Heather or any woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box'," Ross revealed.
"That's just how she was," Ross added. "I miss her dearly. She stood up for people... she put things out there and in your face."
