This extra and his acting fail in the Dunkirk trailer is giving everyone a laugh
Last week the teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk trailer was released and everyone went wild.
The World War Two epic (otherwise known as the film where Harry Styles cut his hair) tells the story of Operation Dynamo, the 1940 mission that evacuated over 300,000 Allied troops when they became trapped by the Nazis.
The 60-second teaser trailer didn't reveal too much about the film but it offered a few chilling shots of terrified soldiers cowering in fear as the horror of their situation sinks in.
All soldiers looked suitably spooked apart from one who didn't seem to get the memo.
Moments before the Nazi strike, one soldier is captured on camera with what appears to be a smirk on his face - clearly not bothered by his impending doom.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot his nonchalant demeanour in the trailer and he's become quite the internet superstar.

now my eyes gravitate to that not so "in the moment" extra in the Dunkirk teaser every single time.— Grant. (@MKsongbird) August 7, 2016
Oh boy ... that Dunkirk extra. Thanks @SchmoesKnow. I can never unsee that guy haha— Elizabeth Darkley (@ElleDarkley) August 5, 2016
But perhaps he really was acting?
Maybe his character flaunts a 'devil-may-care' attitude who laughs in the face of death? He's just thinking "Pfft... come at me bro!"
Along with 'Smiley Face' and Harry Styles, Christopher Nolan's movie also stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy and newcomer Fionn Whitehead.
