The Rock slams 'chicken s**t' Fast 8 male co-stars in 'blood boiling' rant
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is furious with some of his Fast 8 male co-stars... but it's unclear who.
The actor jumped on to social media to vent his frustrations over filming Fast 8 and took aim at some of his male co-stars who aren't living up to his high standards of professionalism.
While the actor didn't name names, he did pen a lengthy post about how grateful he was to be in the final week of production of the much-anticipated movie.
"There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one," he wrote on Facebook.
"An incredibly hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em."
He then went on to vent about some male co-stars, branding them as "candy asses" - one of his favourite terms from his wrestling days.
"My male co-workers however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s--t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."
Johnson explained that some of his more angry scenes in the movie will actually be an honest portrayal of his true emotions.
"When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling—you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on Fast 8 and I will finish strong #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses."
None of Johnson's male co-stars, including Tyrese, Scott Eastwood, Jason Statham and Ludacris have responded to the post yet.
However, in an interview with Esquire magazine, franchise newcomer Eastwood called out his Fast 8 co-stars by revealing all of the actors returned to their trailers between sets while he stuck around to learn more from the crew.
