The Best Actress race during this year's awards season has been thrown another curve ball.

Saoirse Ronan lost out on the Best Actress in a Comedy award at Thursday night's Critics' Choice Awards with the gong going to Margot Robbie for I, Tonya. Frances McDormand won the overall Best Actress award, but wasn't in attendance and Chris Hemsworth accepted it on her behalf.
