Filming has officially begun on Christopher Nolan's new flick Dunkirk and Love/Hate star Barry Keoghan could be looking at his big Hollywood break as he has bagged a role.

The official release also confirms that the RTE crime drama's resident cat killer will join former One Direction star Harry Styles and Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy.

Other names on the list include Murphy's Peaky co-star Tom Hardy, Oscar-winner Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Fionna Whitehead, Aneurin Barnard, James D'Arcy, Jack Lowden and Tom Glynn-Carney.

Murphy previously worked with Nolan on Inception and his Batman trilogy while Hardy had roles in Inception and The Dark Knight Rises.

The World War II action-thriller tells the story of the Miracle of Dunkirk, the evacuation of Allied Forces from the French town's beaches which took place at the beginning of the war in May and June 1940.

The production will shoot in France, Holland, the UK and LA.

The film will release on July 21 2017.
