Light House Cinema to host David Bowie tribute screening in aid of Irish Cancer Society

The Light House Cinema is hosting David Bowie Tribute screenings of Labyrinth in memory of the star.

A screening on Friday January 15 at 11.30pm has already sold out but there are still tickets available to a Sunday screening at 12.30pm.

Full price tickets cost €7.50 and all proceeds will go to the Irish Cancer Society.

The film stars Bowie as a Goblin King who is accidentally summoned by babysitter Sarah as she cares for her baby brother Toby.

The King steals Toby and takes him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth and it's up to Sarah to solve hte labyrinth by midnight or Toby will be turned into a goblin.

The 1986 film is directed by Jim Henson and stars Jennifer Connolly as Sarah.

Worth catching to see the magic dance on the big screen again...
