Irish actress Kerry Condon scores role in 'Breaking Bad' spin-off 'Better Call Saul'
Details are scant about the upcoming 'Breaking Bad' spin-off 'Better Call Saul', but another cast member has been revealed - and she's Irish.
Kerry Condon, who hails originally from Tipperary, has scored a role in the series, although she knows little more about her role than the public.
"It's so top secret, it's crazy, she told U magazine. "It's probably the most top secret thing I've done. When I arrived on the job I didn't even know the character's name, I'd no idea what my storyline was, I've no clue of anything."
"I think when something has a cult following, the fans can be so interested so I think that's probably why they're so top secret about it."
Kerry also stars in Gold, opening Friday October 10, alongside James Nesbitt, Maisie Williams, and David Wilmot. She plays the mother of Maisie's character in the comedy about an estranged father (Nesbitt) who returns to his family after a 10 year absence, but rather than forge relationships, he causes complete havoc.
Kerry, who currently lives in LA, first rose to prominence in the Oscar-nominated Angela's Ashes and went on to score roles in The Last Station, Rome, Luck, This Must Be the Place, and The Shore.
