Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie has said she is looking forward to working with Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson again.

Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment, the Australian actor said she was “so excited” to work with Gleeson again.

“We worked together when I did my first proper movie. I was working with Domhnall and now he’s just done the most incredible films and he’s such a nice guy, I’m just so excited,” she explained.

The pair previously starred alongside each other in the 2013 movie About Time.

Robbie and Gleeson are due to be back working together soon on a biopic about the life of children’s author A.A. Milne, in which they will play a husband and wife.

26-year-old Robbie was speaking as her new movie Suicide Squad hits Irish cinemas to disappointed reviews.

Domhnall Gleeson is the son of famous Irish actor Brendan and rose to worldwide recognition after starring in the final instalments of the Harry Potter movies in 2010 and 2011.

Gleeson has since gone on to star in big-name movies Brooklyn, The Revenant and last year’s Star Wars reboot.
