First look at Hollywood stars Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey on set of Disenchanted movie

Take a look at the first images of Hollywood stars Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey together in Ireland for the filming of their new Disney movie Disenchanted.

Our world exclusive snaps were taken in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, during the week and it's clear the stars are filming scenes set in modern day America, where they are pictured here driving a saloon car.

Remarkably, this is the first time Amy had been photographed in public since her arrival here in May. The American actress's only confirmation to date that she is filming here was an Instagram post she made upon landing on the Emerald Isle.

Enniskerry had been transformed in recent weeks to appear as a fairytale location set in medieval style era, similar some of the scenes from the original Enchanted flick, which was later transformed to current times in New York city.

But buildings in the Enniskerry have now been altered to give them an up-to-date appearance, with American flags hanging from many buildings.

No expense was spared on the set in Co. Wicklow, with people travelling far and wide to take in the magical scenes, which will now sadly be disassembled.

Location shooting is now set to resume indoors in the RDS in Ballsbridge. The Sunday World can also reveal that it looks like Amy and Patrick's characters have become parents, as not only was Amy spotted wheeling a pram on set during the week but it seems they have kids in their car.

Hundreds of extras have been employed during the shooting of the flick, with filming of the movie in Enniskerry finishing up on Wednesday, having initially started shooting here on June 14.

We can also disclose TV presenter Craig Doyle popped along during the week to see the activity, as a couple of his kids have minor roles in the movie.

We previously revealed how Amy and Patrick have been holed up in Dublin's plush Intercontinental hotel in separate suites. Dempsey was pictured in late May on set at Dundalk railway station for one scene.

The 55-year-old, who famously played Dr Derek 'McDreamy' Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy, has spent a lot of his downtime touring the country. He took a trip to the famous Leo Burdock's chipper in Dublin and captioned his image of the chipper with some Dublin slang: "Bleeding deadly!"

Dempsey has also popped up in several other places in Dublin in recent days, posting images of himself in Louis Copeland's tailors in Dublin, at a Porche dealership in Charlestown in the capital.

The father-of-three was also pictured himself dressed in an Aran sweater made by Inis Meain, raving: "I love being in Ireland and I'm having so much fun working on this film".

Dempsey has also been touring other Irish locations, such as Dalkey Island earlier this month.

Filming also takes place in Greystones, Co Wicklow, where a stunning home there that has been transformed to look like a pink castle will also feature in the flick. Other scenes have been filmed at Powerscourt waterfall.

The previous 2007 film Enchanted cost €70m and it is believed the new production is a similar cost. The last movie took in €280m at the box office.

The original movie saw Adams play animated princess Giselle, who is transported to real world New York. There, she falls in love with cynical divorce lawyer, Robert Phillip (Dempsey).

The film is set 10 years after the first movie, with Giselle "finding herself questioning her happy-ever-after life and accidentally triggering events that make everyone's life turn upside down in both the real world and in Andalasia".
