Current Bond Daniel Craig came face to face with possible 007 replacement Idris Elba at an awards ceremony this weekend - and kissed him.

Sure what else would he do?

Since Craig has made it quite clear he's not sure about whether or not he'll film another instalment as the British spy (at one point stating he'd "rather slash my wrists" than play him again), speculation about who might replace him has been rife.

Topping the long list of names is Idris Elba, and Craig was repeatedly grilled about the actor on the tour for Spectre.

"He came up to me, looked me in the eyes, grabbed my face and kissed me on the cheek," Elba told The Hollywood Reporter.

After Elba gave him a hard time over talking about him as Bond in junket interviews, he said Craig laughed and said, "They asked me if you can play Bond. What am I going to say? No?".

The actors bumped into each other at the Governers Awards on November 14.

Speaking about the possibility of a black actor playing Bond, Craig recently told The Sun, "The person should do the job and I don't give a f*** what colour their skin is.

"[A female] bis another story.  But why not?  Jasmine Bond?".
