Colin Farrell and Liam Neeson are finally starring in the same movie together
Two of Ireland's biggest stars are set to star in a new Hollywood thriller.
Colin Farrell and Liam Neeson have never been in the same movie before, despite the fact that both of them are two of Ireland's most successful actors.
But that's about to change as the pair are set to star in director Steve McQueen's (12 Years A Slave) new heist thriller, Windows.
According to reports from Variety, the Castleknock actor is currently in negotiations to star in the movie.
Neeson's name was first attached the project in March, alongside Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis, Moonlight actor Andre Holland, Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya and Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and The Furious) and Cynthia Erivo (Mr Selfridge).
Windows is the big screen adaptation of Lynda La Plante’s (Prime Suspect) 1983 British TV miniseries. It's been scripted by McQueen and Gone Girl autho Gillian Flynn and follows four women who team up to complete a heist when their husbands are killed on the job.
Details about Farrell's role are still vague but it's believed that he'll play a politician who becomes embroiled in the widows' plans.
Neeson will play Viola Davis' husband so we can expect to see him killed off from the start.
