'Breaking Bad' star plans return trip for Irish film
'BREAKING Bad' star Aaron Paul is heading off on a nationwide tour of Ireland after a weekend of partying and gate crashing engagement parties in Dublin's city centre.
Paul, who played the part of Jesse Pinkman in the hugely successful US series, touched down in the capital for Budweiser's Dream Job campaign.
The actor made a beeline for several well known pubs including O'Donoghues and 37 Dawson Street where he bumped into Irish rugby star Devin Toner's fiancée Mary Scott, who was celebrating her recent engagement.
"I had a great time in Dublin," he told the Irish Independent. "But now I want to head out of the city to see the countryside and roam around ruins and castles."
It is the three-time Emmy winner's first visit to Ireland but he intends to return to avail of our country's enticing film tax breaks.
"It's my first time here and I love it," he said as he sported a hurley he was presented with by an admirer. "I would love to film a movie here - any excuse to come to Ireland is a good one."
Paul will next appear in thriller 'The 9th Life of Louis Drax' alongside Belfast born Jamie Dornan.
The film is based on Liz Jensen's best-selling novel and is due for release later this year.
Paul expressed an interest in appearing in 'Better Call Saul' the spin off series of Breaking Bad. "I won't be in the first season but I hope to pop up in the future," he said.
Budweiser Dream Job will give one person the chance to kick start their dream career with the help of a €50,000 prize fund. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply on the Budweiser Ireland Facebook page until February 4.
