Enlist your pals and snacks and pack up the car: the much loved ‘Drive In Cinema’ is returning to Dublin’s south side.

Just in time for winter movie nights, the Drive In Cinema will take over the Ferry Terminal in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.

Between September 11th until December 8th, Underground Cinema will be organising some of the most iconic films in cinematic history, including Dirty Dancing, Elf, Avatar, The Goonies, and Jaws.

Over the Halloween weekend, the cinema will screen an array of fearsome films including Psycho, Dracula, The Exorcist, The Crow and even The Rocky Horror Picture Show on All Hallow’s Eve.

The Drive In Cinema will hold between 100 and 150 cars, and it is advisable to book early as shows are likely to sell out fast.

The Underground Cinema Team have stated that they are looking forward to bringing this new attraction around the country, so watch this space.
