Miller in talks for American Sniper
Sienna Miller is tipped for the lead female role in American Sniper.
The British actress has apparently caught the eye of the war drama's director Clint Eastwood, and is now in early talks for the part.
The Wrap reported that the choice came down to Sienna and Jaimie Alexander, with Kate Mara and Evangeline Lilly previously linked to the role.
Sienna would be starring alongside Bradley Cooper in the true story of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.
The film is being adapted from Kyle's book, American Sniper: The Autobiography Of The Most Lethal Sniper In US Military History.
It tells the story of the expert marksman, who was killed by a discharged war veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Sienna could be set to play Kyle's wife in the film.
