Michael Caine finds love in Paris
Sir Michael Caine is set to find some Parisian magic in romantic drama Mr Morgan's Last Love.
The Oscar-winning British star is said to be joining Clemence Poesy and former X-Files actress Gillian Anderson in Sandra Nettlebeck's big-screen adaptation of Francoise Dorner's novel, reported The Playlist.
The 78-year-old is tipped to play a "retired, lonely American widower", whose chance encounter with a "free-spirited and vibrantly naive, beautiful young French woman" changes his life.
Weeds actor Justin Kirk, legendary four-time Oscar nominee Jane Alexander and The Diving Bell And The Butterfly's Anne Alvaro are also in the cast list.
Filming is already underway in Paris.
Michael - who was last heard in Cars 2 - will next be seen reprising his role as loyal butler Alfred in The Dark Knight Rises before hanging out with magicians in magical thriller Now You See Me.
