McGregor saddles up for Jane film
Ewan McGregor could be in line to portray a villain in Western drama Jane Got A Gun, following the exits of Bradley Cooper and Jude Law, according to reports.
The Scottish star is thought to be in talks to join the cast of Gavin O'Connor's upcoming movie, reported Deadline.
Natalie Portman, Joel Edgerton and Noah Emmerich are already on board to star. Oscar-winning Black Swan actress Natalie has already been cast as a woman who runs away from her outlaw husband and is forced to team up with an ex-boyfriend - played by Joel - to protect her family.
The film has had a rocky start after Bradley, Jude, Michael Fassbender and director Lynne Ramsay left the project over the last two months.
Ewan, who starred opposite Naomi Watts in The Impossible and with Nicholas Hoult in Jack The Giant Slayer, will next star in John Wells' big-screen adaptation of the play August: Osage County.
The 42-year-old is also attached to thriller Our Kind Of Traitor alongside Ralph Fiennes, Australian drama Son Of A Gun and Peter Capaldi's comedy Born To Be King with Kate Hudson.
