McAdams in talks for Passengers
Rachel McAdams is in talks to take over Reese Witherspoon's role in upcoming film Passengers.
Oscar-winner Reese had to drop out of the sci-fi movie because of scheduling conflicts, and now About Time star Rachel is tipped for the part, according to Deadline.
If Rachel, 34, signs up, she will be starring opposite Keanu Reeves.
Written by Prometheus' Jon Spaihts, the film centres on a passenger (Keanu) who prematurely wakes up from a cryogenic slumber on a starship transporting humans to a colony.
He decides to wake up a fellow female - the role Rachel would play - to help keep him company on their journey.
Passengers will be directed by Game Of Thrones' Brian Kirk.
