Max Minghella is in talks to join comedy The Internships.

The 26-year-old actor - the son of late filmmaker Anthony - is thought to be in "early negotiations" to take a supporting role in Shawn Levy's movie, according to Variety.

Wedding Crashers stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are set to reunite on the film, playing unemployed salesmen who decide to reinvent themselves by becoming interns at a major technology company.

Max could be cast as a ruthlessly competitive intern who plans to sabotage the duo in order to land a coveted full-time job.

The British actor, who made his big-screen debut in drama Bee Season alongside Richard Gere and Juliette Binoche, has previously appeared in The Social Network, The Ides Of March and How To Lose Friends And Alienate People.
