Many kisses for Damon and Douglas
Matt Damon has revealed he's going to be kissing Michael Douglas more than once in Liberace.
Michael is starring as Liberace in Steven Soderbergh's biopic of the showman, while Matt plays his younger lover, and The Adjustment Bureau star told E! News their much talked about screen kiss is not going to be a one-off.
Matt said: "It's scripted that there's more than one - I never thought I would get to kiss Michael Douglas."
After casting was announced on the project Michael, 66, revealed he had already begun winding Matt up about having to pucker up.
He said: "I just saw Matt... and I was teasing him. I was saying, 'Bring a lot of ChapStick, babe.' "
When The Bourne Ultimatum star was asked if he thought he could live up to Michael's Basic Instinct co-star Sharon Stone, Matt joked: "Well I'm not doing that thing with my legs!"
Meanwhile, Matt also revealed he believes Liberace will be the last film Steven Soderbergh will make, as the director has apparently told him he is retiring after the movie is finished.
Matt said: "I've had a lot of conversations with him about it and he is serious about it.
"He says that's the last one he's going to do."
