Taylor Lautner is in talks to star opposite Adam Sandler in Grown Ups 2.
The Twilight star - who will make his final appearance as werewolf Jacob Black, the role that made his name, in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II in November - is keen to branch out into comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Adam, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek who all starred in the first film, about a group of high school friends who reunite for Fourth of July weekend, are expected to return along with director Dennis Dugan.
Sources reveal Taylor will make an appearance in a "fun" role, opposite comedian Adam.
The 22-year-old actor has already proved his action ability in thriller Abduction and is attached to star in an indie drama directed by Gus Van Sant, so comedy would be an extra feather to his acting bow.
