Ashton Kutcher has ruled himself out of appearing in the upcoming third instalment of Ghostbusters - because he won't look good in 3D.
The comic actor appears in No Strings Attached, directed by Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, and while suggesting he would like a part, hinted it would be shown in 3D.
"I don't do 3D well, it's a weird thing - I have a pretty predominant brow and people think, 'Oh Jesus, his head's coming right at me'," he said.
Ivan, who has confirmed he will be directing the eagerly anticipated follow-up, added: "I haven't even said it's in 3D, but that's a good idea. We have talked about it," before Ashton chipped in: "Actually, that is about the only conversation we've had about it."
There have a slew of rumours about Ghostbusters 3, but Ivan is keeping his cards close to his chest.
"It's a very good script and a number of the original actors have read it - one in particular has not so we are all waiting for him to read it. And then we will see what will happen," he revealed, without naming which actor hasn't read it.
It has been reported Bill Murray is the one holding up the film. He told US 'shock jock' Howard Stern: "Before I was an asset but now I'm a problem. There's a script somewhere but I haven't read it yet."
He added: "Ivan wants to make it and I owe him."
:: No Strings Attached is in cinemas on February 25.
