Jimmy Kimmel has been picked to host a special gala paying tribute to Matthew McConaughey.
Dallas Buyers Club star Matthew is being presented with the prestigious American Cinematheque Award, which is given to someone "who is fully engaged in his or her work and is committed to making a significant contribution to the art of the motion picture".
And it has now been revealed that US chat show host Jimmy and a host of other stars will be on hand to help honour the Oscar-winning actor at the ceremony in October.
They include actresses Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon and Jessica Chastain, who have all worked with Matthew.
Cole Hauser, who shared the screen with Matthew in his first film, 1993's Dazed And Confused, will also appear.
Other stars are expected to be announced ahead of the ceremony in Los Angeles on October 21.
Matthew, 44, follows stars including Ben Stiller, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster and Tom Cruise, who have all previously been presented with the American Cinematheque Award.
