Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh has joined the cast of new British movie All Stars.
The 30-year-old singer - who has just finished a sell-out run as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical - will star alongside Outnumbered's Hugh Dennis, Extras actress Ashley Jensen and So Solid Crew rapper-turned actor Ashley Walters.
All Stars follows two young friends - played by Horrid Henry:The Movie's Theo Stevenson and Street Dance 2 star Akai Osei - who dream of bringing together a group of misfits and putting on the show of a lifetime in order to save their local youth centre.
Kimberley will play Trish, who joins in the fight to help save the centre.
She said: "I am thrilled to be joining the cast of All Stars. I have worked with Theo before on Horrid Henry and he is a huge talent.
"I loved the script as soon as I read it. It is a heart-warming family film that will put a huge smile on your face."
As well as Shrek and Horrid Henry: The Movie, Kimberley has also made a cameo in the 1997 St Trinian's movie with the rest of Girls Aloud.
All Stars, which will incorporate fantasy sequences into the feelgood family movie, is due to start shooting in mid June.
