Kidman to deliver in the Paperboy
Nicole Kidman is reportedly in talks to star in The Paperboy.
The Australian actress, who would replace Sofia Vergara, who dropped out of the drama because of her TV commitments to Modern Family, is tipped to play a woman with a dark side who writes letters to men on death row.
Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire is also said to have left Lee Daniels' drama.
Matthew McConaughey and Zac Efron are still reported to be on board.
The drama, which is set to start filming in coming months, focuses on a reporter and his brother as they investigate the events surrounding a murder, in order to free a man on death row. Nicole's character would bring the case to the attention to the reporter, and develop a relationship with him.
The Oscar-winning actress - who last appeared in Just Go With It and harrowing drama Rabbit Hole - has recently wrapping Hemingway And Gellhorn, in which she plays war correspondent Martha Gellhorn to Clive Owen's Ernest Hemingway.
